For how many years after purchase is Lipton Earl Grey tea good for consumption?

I have two boxes of Sir Thomas Lipton Earl Grey and English Breakfast made in Canada. For how long are they good for consumption? There's no best before date on the packs. Generally speaking, does anyone know the validity period of Earl Grey tea? I think

Moreover, tea loooses its liquor, strength etc. over a period and after two years you may not find the tea good in taste or refreshing. May be you can try a cup and find out if the tea has retained its strength. If it’s not good enough in taste or aroma, dump it in the bin! In any case, tea bought in 2004 would not go bad or will not have any bad effect on your system after consuming. Next time don’t sit on any product for two years, for that matter, I would say, consume any product within reasonable time after buying to enjoy its real taste. Enjoy your cuppa!
